Controllable synthesis of 2D materials

Controllable synthesis is crucial for exploring structure and nature of 2D materials at the limit of single atomic thickness.
Controllable synthesis of graphene, h-BN, TMDs and other 2D materials with precisely controlled thickness, dimension, composition and heterostructure interface can be successfully achieved through chemical vapor deposition (CVD). A facile and convenient strategy is used to fabricate multi-component alloying 2D materials and heterostructures in an one-step or multi-steps process for exploration of more properties.
Chemical vapor transport (CVT) also plays an important role in our fabrication of 2D materials with remarkable crystallinity and novel structure which may contributes to some potentially practical applications.
